Account & Data Deletion
To delete your SpeechCue account and associated data, you can use the Delete Account option in the app under Settings > Account, visit the account deletion page, or email [email protected].
Deletion methods
- In-app self-service: go to Settings > Account and confirm the Delete Account flow.
- Web request: visit this page and submit your account deletion request.
- Email request: send your request to [email protected].
What to include
- Account identifier (email, phone number, or user ID used in the app).
- Deletion scope (full account and all data, or specific data you want removed).
- Confirmation that you are the account owner; we may request additional verification if needed.
What gets deleted
If account features are enabled, we will delete your account profile and any cloud-synced scripts, settings, and other cloud data associated with the account. Local-only data stored on your device must be removed by you inside the app or by uninstalling the app.
Processing time
We normally complete deletion requests within 7 days. If we need more time, we will let you know by email.
Data retention exceptions
Some data may be retained where required by law, accounting, or fraud prevention. If this applies to your request, we will explain what is retained and why.
